- Standard Hayes command set stuff. It is probably a good idea to add &F1
- at the start of that to reset the modem to a known state.

- manufacturer knows more about sensible values for these registers than the
- game.

- If your modem is autoanswering the call (which appears not to be the
- case here since S0=0 is set) you may need to write a speed of 2400 to NVRAM
- to ensure the modem switches to this when autoanswering. The current
- comms speed is written to NVRAM whenever you send the &W command so all
- you need to do is set a comms program to 2400 8N1 and issue the commands:
